Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is looking for someone interested in working with clients and also being out in the community promoting services with the BIPOC reentry population. 

In this position you will:

  • Provide case coordination services for clients in the prison system, involved with probation/parole or had prior involvement with the criminal justice system
  • Must be willing to work with clients with substance use history
  • Establish relationships with community agencies, other drug and alcohol treatment providers and other mental health treatment providers
  • Facilitate outreach and engagement through existing programming, partnerships with community agencies, hospitals/health care providers, law enforcement and government agencies
  • Create and promote materials for a stigma-reduction campaign across program counties
  • Schedule appointments with clients and conduct intake/assessments and startup documentation
  • Engage in community wide harm reduction programming to provide overdose reversal education and training services
  • Facilitate weekly psycho-education groups to engage BIPOC members in the recovery community
  • Communicate with clients in accordance with motivational interviewing and other designated evidence based procedures
  • You MUST have reliable transportation because you are covering multiple counties in this position so traveling is a requirement

PCS is a EOE. 

$16.35 - $17.60 per hour
Bachelor's Degree
40 hours/week 8am-6pm Monday - Thursday after 10 week start up
