  • FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services

Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is looking for a Project Staff intern to join our team! 

  • We are looking for individuals want to gain experience working with adolescents and young adults
  • Job duties would include:
    • Coordinate and facilitate group volunteering opportunities to be added to the monthly activity calendar
    • Meet with participants after person-centered planning meeting to further explore the identified areas of need from the plan.  Utilize that information to detail specific group activities and 1:1 to help participant develop identified skills.
    • Reach out to participants (focusing first on under-engaged participants) to suggest groups or 1:1 training for identified independent living goals.
    • Meet with participants 1:1 to work on independent living skills.
    • Create or modify existing groups based on observations of needs during 1:1 meetings.
    • Facilitate groups and activities.
    • Assist Transition Coordinator, as needed.
    • Travel to client homes and make community visits as needed.
    • Complete required documentation.
