Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is searching for a  part time Group Facilitator to join our Team!

The Why Try program is an evidence-based model focusing on truancy prevention and intervention within local schools. The facilitator will implement the curriculum to address truancy and to assist students with mastering the skills they need to succeed at school and home.

As a Group Facilitator:

  • Running Why Try groups for the Middle School and High School population in the Dallastown, Red Lion and York City School District
  • The groups promote motivating unmotivated students, improve engagement and increase academic success
  • You would run two groups for an hour and fifteen minutes each day
  • You must be able to work independently and be organized 

The working hours for this position will be approximately 16 per week and is only during the school year.
