Requirements

• high School Diploma or GED
• must have lived experience
• must have Certified Recovery Specialist Certificate or be willing to earn certificate within 1 year of hire
• valid driver’s license and car insurance
• working knowledge of 12 step recovery principles
• basic computer skills
• detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• flexible schedule with evening requirement
• Pennsylvania State Child Abuse Clearance
• Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services

Description

We are currently seeking Full Time Recovery Specialist to serve as a liaison between clients, therapeutic staff, and ancillary supports in order to facilitate client integration in the treatment and recovery process.  The goal of this position is to provide “lived experience” from someone in recovery in order to improve motivation and engagement through all phases of recovery - outreach prior to treatment, support during treatment, and follow-up after completion of treatment.  This is a unique opportunity with potential to grow with the program and the employer will assist with gaining certification to become a Certified Recovery Specialist.

All applicants will be tested on basic math, auditing and computer skills prior to being interviewed. EOE

Pay $14 - $15 per hour

Degree Requirement High School Diploma / GED

Working Hours 40 hours per week
