Requirements

• must be bilingual in Spanish
• bachelor's degree in a human service field required
• valid driver's license and car insurance
• PA State Police Criminal History Check
• FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services

Description

We are searching for a bilingual Truancy Mentor to join our team!

As a Mentor:

• you would be working with children and adolescents in the school setting who are truant from school
• this position is focused on a truancy prevention and intervention evidence based practice delivered in partnership with local schools, community agencies and parents/families
• the Mentor's primary goal is to keep education a salient issue for disengaged students, families and the student's teachers
• you would partner with the schools and work along side the students for a 2 year time period working to get them reengaged
• must be able to work independently and be organized. EOE. 

Pay $17 per hour to start

Degree Requirement Bachelor's Degree

Working Hours 40-45 hours/week during the school year, paid time off over the summer
